The new way to get married, is to have your wedding abroad. There are several reasons for this, first and foremost is the cost. The price of getting married abroad is significantly lower than some costs of getting married at home. There is a bit of a big downside to this, and that is taking lots of people with you is a bit tricky. If small weddings sounds like your sort of thing, then a Caribbean island may be where you want to go?

These two islands are very well known, but they are perfect for weddings as well as just for holidays. Let's check out St Lucia as the first island to have a look at wedding venues. There are some great places for you to get married in St Lucia, not to mention getting some of the best spa treatments available. The Almond Morgan Bay Beach Resort has recently been refurbished and fixed up, and just to make this a little more amazing it even has four pools. There is 22 acres of tropical garden behind the hotel and in front is a clear white sanded beach. There will be no problem trying to find a venue for both food and drinks, the hotel is very accommodating as well!

Barbados is just around the corner, and the most easterly of the islands. If your thinking about Barbados, i would suggest that the younger couples should indulge in this. If you like to party right the way through the night, then this would be great for you. If you search for a hotel named "The House" you will find a gorgeous hotel to get married in, probably one of the most beautiful scenery's in the world. Seriously have a look at it, its amazingly beautiful. Most Tour Operators will arrange for you to have the wedding ceremony for free if you stay for at least a week! Don't worry about that food or that drink, the hotel is amazing and does it's best to sort anything out for you.

So weddings abroad, there is of course just St Lucia holidays or Barbados holidays, it all depends what you fancy!
